No Penn State, no Ohio State. Illinois is a gift, but who knows about Indiana? They could be tough, or the beat downs from Ohio State and Penn State could have crushed their team spirit, we find out how good Maryland is this weekend, same with Purdue, they get what I would presume to be their toughest tests - Iowa and Michigan - at home.

The schedule looks easy on paper but I think there's a good chance they slip up once or twice yet. Purdue and Maryland look better than expected. @ Indiana is usually a funky game, and Iowa, Michigan, and @ Minnesota to close out the schedule is no cakewalk.

But yes, a win this weekend at Nebraska makes things considerably easier in the West race.

The thing is, they already have the head to head tie breaker over Northwestern, soon to have it over Nebraska and a 2 game lead on Iowa.

Even if Wisky drops 1-2 games after Nebraska, they'll win the west.

I posted this originally because I find it remarkable the West is all but over on October 7th.

Correct, it's effectively a 2-game lead over the rest of the contenders in the West.

lol exactly... Bottom line is Wisconsin will never have the balance to be a true player nationally.

I love their brand of play because it's physical and you normally don't lose to teams you shouldn't lose to that way. OSU will always stack the box against them (scum as well) and force them to throw the ball which will never work out for them very well.

Only way Wisconsin/Scum ever beat an UFM team is if their defense crushes our offense. It'll never be because we can't stop them.
