Most likely all German. But it is Wisconsin.

Benzschawel: Grafton, Wis.....Parents are Scott and Barcie Benzschawel ... brother, Luke, is a tight end at UW … father played football at Wisconsin from 1983-87 … uncle, Eric Benzschawel, played football at UW from 1988-92 … grandfather, John Morgen, competed in rowing at UW from 1955-57 and went on to serve as president of the National W Club in 1990-91 ... honor roll student ... major is life sciences communication.

Biadasz: Amherst, Wis.

Dietzen: Black Creek, Wis.

Deiter: Genoa, Ohio

also, Edwards: Downers Grove, Ill

All five are from the midwest, one is from Ohio.

Just sayin': Deiter was 1st team OT all B1G this past season. It looks like he was a 3 star recruit that (apparently) Ohio State didn't recruit/offer. Just maybe we "whiffed" on that one.

Wisconsin renews Paul Chryst’s contract again, keeps him in Madison until 2023

It’s becoming a regular occurrence around Madison this time of year but Wisconsin has renewed head coach Paul Chryst’s contract once again.

The UW Athletic Board approved the deal on Friday and keeps Chryst around with a five-year contract that runs through January 31, 2023. Other terms of the contract were not announced but this is pretty standard operating procedure for the school after the board did the same back in 2017 and 2016 to keep the coach on what amounts to a rolling five-year deal.

Based on his upgraded deal that agreed to last winter, Chryst is set to set make $3.3 million in 2018 with additional annual raises of $100,000 each year through 2023.

Great extension... Paul is one of my favorite coaches to be honest. Seems like a really good guy with the appropriate amount of fun to him.

Plus him wording "fuck the turnover chain" when they took care of Miami was great

Yup, have to agree. Wisky has a good one for their program for sure. The TO chain comment was spectacular.

He and Frost will be a lot of fun to watch in the West.
