I agree...I respect Emmitt Smith as well even though i have hated the Dallas Cowboys for a long time while they were winning all them championships, but rushing for basically no yards last year, if Dennis Green is trying to win with the Cardinals this year, Marcel Shipp is going to have to be the starter so they can move him along, Emmitt should basically be mentoring these younger guys and help them do what he did a few years back for sure.

Green could be trying to motivate Shipp. Maybe he'll step it up if he thinks Smith is the starter. Emmitt doesn't have anything to prove. If ship can beat out the all time leader rusher in the NFL it will give him confidence (maybe :) )
