The fact that this game is on MSNBC is a joke.

It's been said already by many people...but NBC is a joke when it comes to televising the Olympics.

But to the topic at hand...Canada wins. But the USA will win the same match-up for gold on the men's side.

Please. If they put it on NBC, they wouldn't have room for all of those human interest stories about ice dancers.

On a better note, Ohio State picked up two bronze medals with Finland's win over Sweden, and we're guaranteed a gold and a silver tonight since we have a player on both the Canadian and US teams.

Ohio State's all time medal haul after tonight is 36 Gold, 32 Silver and 20 Bronze. Hopefully, Ryan Kessler adds the 37th Gold on Sunday.

Wow. The US was lucky to get out of that Canadian power play without giving up another goal. They were unable to clear the zone for the duration. They got bailed out by a Canadian penalty shortly after their power play expired.

No kidding on the bailout. The Canadian may have embellished it a bit, but she was taking a beating down in front of the net. The Canadians are doing a fantastic job blocking shots. The US can barely even get a puck through to the goalie.

The only thing worse than hockey with no-touch icing is hockey with no body checks. Lame. :shake:
