Woody Hayes Athletic Center (Official Thread)

BuckeyeInTheBoro, I was there for a luncheon last spring. They gave a tour of the entire athletic facility, except for the locker room.

NMBuck, I have no idea how long some of this stuff had been up. I'd never been in there before the spring of '02. For anyone in the Columbus area, it would definitely be the worth the trip. I do think they give tours on a regular basis.

Strength/Speed charts posted in WHAC

Here are a few of the strengh/speed charts posted in the WHAC that I was able to photograph yesterday. I have several other pictures if someone has space and wants to post them. I don't want to tie up the bandwidth here and have already sent them to Clarity in case he wants to post them somewhere else on his site.

Wow, Mike Kudla is a beast :yow2: To think he almost died a couple of years ago and now he's benching 515 pounds. Won't be difficult to root for him this fall.

Thanks for the pics, coxew.

I remember when his dad posted on Bucknuts last year about him benching 225 for 42 reps. He said he did this in a workout with the coaches and the team found out about it so he did it again in front of everyone. I think the most done at the combine last year was 37 or 39. It's an impressive feat all by itself and then you consider the weight he lost and that he almost died it's unreal.

Thanks for the pics coxew.

A few things that stood out for me....

1. Frost's, Pitcock's & Richardson's speed- very athletic D-line

2. Coelman's, Mangold's, Sims' & Olds' squat numbers- very powerful O-line

3. Kudla's bench- like Nutty said freakish
