I was just reading the cfn's acc report thing.. and had a thought that kinda tickled. wouldnt it be nice if tOSU blew out ncst with that new qb early in the year, only to watch them turn it around and sneak away with the acc title?

Yeah, it would. I would LOVE that. But, it ain't gonna happen. Would be nice, though.

Hate to say it, but NCSt could finish 7th (or more likely in a 3-way tie for 5th), and it wouldn't be a stretch at all.

From everything I read from last year - NC State was supposed to be good this year. Now, I'm hearing they may not be even in the top half of the conference?! hmmmm. Sounds like a setup to me.

I know Rivers if sayonara, but T.A. is one of the top 5 backs in the country. I like him. He is B A D BAD.

He's also injury-prone. Both years of college. Maybe even worse than Lydell in that department.

Yea, I had to go look it up. He missed one game his freshmen year, FOUR his next year.

Definitely has the same problems - agreed. I guess he has the talent to be a top 5 back. I don't think Lydell does quite frankly.

I would take T.A. over Lydell anyday of the week though, so that says a lot to me. (except when he is injured...but hey...lydell would probably be injured too!) lol.

I know I'm going to catch a ton of shit for this, but I don't think we beat the 'Pack.

    Blast away.

Sears-- I respectfully disagree... But I'm scared as hell. I see the game as a coin toss plus the Tressel factor... is it possible to win by .5?

Anyway... The Pack doesn't need to lose to us then win the ACC.. they jstu need to lose to us, and pull off one on FSU or Cryami.. that will work.

I think I've got some NC State faculty tix on the way, so I'll be up there in S&G in the midst of the Pack.

    Sears,

Are you serious? What kind of frickin' moron are you? You take some lowly recruit thieving team over the pride and joy of Ohio? And you call yourself a fan?

Well, you said blast away. Actually, I respect anyone's opinion, at least when it is founded in reality, even if I don't agree with it. Just because you're a fan of a team doesn't mean you have to pick them to win every game they play. Personally, though, I don't think the 'Pack will give us a whole lot of trouble. I may revise this opinion after seeing the Cincinnati and Marshall games, but for now, they just don't worry me.

I'm going to go out on a limb here and predict a Buckeye victory by a few TDs. I think we're in for some high-flying antics on O with Zwick/Smith at the helm. I've gotta feeling that we're going to produce in the air big time this season and one or both of our QBs will be hitting our recievers in stride

Hit Santonio in stride, and it's six. He is going to light NCSU's secondary up.
