You guys are really, really good. I mean, we all knew going in you're the best team in the BIG this year. But to put a curb-stompin' of that magnitude vs a not-too-bad Nebraska team was impressive, to say the least.

I think our guys were a bit (!) out of their element on the big stage Sat. night. We're a young team who has not had a ton of big-game, big-exposure experience. Our quarterback was obviously shaken and missed a LOT of receivers early. Our defense, as I had feared, was exposed again on national TV.

Obviously, the talent disparity is huge, and we knew that going in. Nebraska has GOT to find a way to haul in some top-level recruits if this program wants to win some championships ever again. I don't think Nebraska has ever signed a 5-star guy.

The hope around here is that you guys don't beat us twice and that we come out with our hair on fire vs N'Werstern this week. We still have the BIG West in our sights and a decent bowl game at the end of the year.

Anyway, kudos to a great tOSU team. You guys ought to roll over the rest of your schedule, incl. UMich. I'll be pulling for you to get to the playoff and win one for the Big Ten!!

Been great chatting with you guys- I'll be back, but I gotta go visit the Wildcat faithful now. Much respect and adiós for now. L8r!!

Not the victory but the action
Not the goal but the game
In the deed the glory. GO BIG RED!!

BuckIpower, I've been wondering what game your tagline comes from? "Can they catch him? NO they can't!"
Something similar for us would be from Tommie Frazier's magical 75-yd TD vs. Fla in the '95 Fiesta Bowl:

"Look at Tommie Frazier! How many tackles can one man break?" :)

And that Tommy Frazier run was ridiculous.

Head up brother...Frost will get you guys back on track. You need more depth on defense and the OL. I can see you guys being a constant in the BTCG in the B1G West.

If you clean up the turnovers you can beat anyone in the West. You face NW and Minny then you have a Bye week. As crazy as this sounds you still control your own destiny.

Wisconsin without their two defensive scores gets heat by NW. Iowa is solid but their road schedule is brutal.

Cleanup the turnovers and penalties and you will be in every game. Good luck.

Thank you and I'll echo what other fans have said here, my interactions with Nebraska fans by and large have been really positive. In Boise, we share space at a bar for our alumni game watch and the fans were classy as always on Saturday. Hope you'll stick around and keep posting here.

You guys are heading in the right direction for sure. I think Frost will get you guys there and you have some young talent to build on. I see you guys finishing out the year with a respectable record and with one more year of recruiting and talent development, you should have a very good team next year.
