Hey, guys. I know I promised I'd leave you alone until the conference championship game, but we have a situation in Lincoln.

Turns out, one of our D Linemen did a thing to one of your O Linemen. Films don't show what happened, but the league suspended our guy for a game & Frost says there will be further internal punishment.

Do any of you Buckeyes have any idea what happened? They're basically saying our guy "struck" your guy, so a closed-fist punch is what you'd think, but did he maybe say something, too?

Thanks for taking my call. I'll hang up and listen.

"If we had known something was going on during the game, we would have handled it during the game, we had no idea," Frost said. "We don't condone what he did on the field."

A wider camera shot of the play, which circulated late Wednesday, showed Davis slide over the top of Ohio State center Josh Myers at the end of a 15-yard J.K. Dobbins run and appear to wind up to throw a punch. The shot doesn’t show a follow-through, but Frost made it clear he supports the Big Ten’s decision and that Davis will face internal punishment in addition to the suspension.

I’ve gone looking for footage and have turned up nothing.

Hats off to Frost for handling it. I get the sense that he’s a coach of men, not just players. Good on him.

You must have been real close to where we were sitting that game. The play and the roar were both unbelievable.

I forget exactly how many rows back but not many. Almost where the concrete wall meets the extended stands if you know that spot.

We love that area for seats to The Game. Makes it easy to storm the field.

You were in the opposite corner of the north end zone for The Game 2012 iirc

You must’ve been one of the thousands I saw out on the field after the game

I was one of the hundreds you might’ve seen, watching from near the top row of c deck. I love it up there, but storming the field doesn’t end much better than storming the parking lot from up there

I thought I saw something in the game in 40 minutes video. There is a pile up on the ground. As the players are getting up, a Nebraska player throws a punch at a player on the ground. The Nebraska player is face toward the right of the screen. I thought my eyes were deceiving me and there was no flag, so I thought I was wrong. If someone has the time to look, I think you will find it.
