If only Tress could close on out oos recruits like Dukes, Abdallah and Mitchum we could have a halfway decent class.....Doh! :biggrin:

What an unbelievable class this is shaping up to be. I have to believe that Holmes was very instrumental in all of this - he knows the that both Zwick and Smith can throw the ball. Mitchum, Nadar, and Dukes in a few day period. Top it off with a cheesehead. Fred who?

Ur a chearleeder! Yuo only focus on teh posative! Its amazing how quickly u ferget that we lost FRED DAVIS! FERD DAVIS is the bestest NFL player EVAR! WHoever gets FERD automaticly wins ALL ther games! Tresell cant coach his offens, so we nevr get teh best recrutes their! And that meens that NO FERD and NO BURGIS and NO game. We need to go 10 wide becuase thats MODURN! GET OUT OF TEH PAST! And yuo cant go 10 wide withuot FLOORDA speed. And Tresul cant recrute out of state.

I GARANTEE WE WILL LOOSE 7 GAMES NEXT SEESON! YUO JUST DON GET IT!

This one is extra sweet because I thought for sure we had lost him to NC St.

This class is starting to look like the 2002 class not only in talent, but also in balance. If you count Morgan (or any of the four CBs) as a WR we are short of a full team (including kicker) by one DT, one LB, and one OL - and we landed two TEs one of whom could easily move to LB or OL. AND we are still in on Anderson.

The other thing I like is the way JT went after two HUGE 'injured' sleepers. By all accounts Skinner should be ranked right there with Mitchum - he just didn't get the early credit because he was hurt as a junior.

There is a post floating around talking about the fact that only one person caught Dukes from behind all year. There is also a junior RB in Fla named Smith who has been caught once from behind all year. The same player caught them both - the same DaJuan Morgan who injured his hip in an auto accident prior to his senior season and many shied away from because they were afraid his speed would not return. Well, it's back.

JT rolled the dice on both of these guys and his is raking in his chips.

I thought he was going to NCSU as well... great pickup... many on the cryami board think he is the top WR in the state of FL... This class is really shaping up to be a great one...

Holmes and Dukes are really good friends... no question Holmes pulled his weight in gold getting Dukes to OSU!!

Dajuan Morgan and Albert Dukes play in the same league that Willie Young does. For all the PA trifecta talk I'd rather land the Dukes/Morgan/Young trifecta. Maybe Albert and Dajuan can give Willie a call??

I agree, Nutty. Young has huge upside, and would be a great pick up. However, it sounds like he needs a test score (he re-took the test last weekend instead of visiting Georgia).

Dukes, who signed with Ohio State, expressed similar thoughts.

"I think I need college," he said. "You learn to read offenses and defenses when you're in high school, but you have to have that college level."

Young and Dukes are unsure whether they would leave college early, but both said they would not unless they felt totally prepared.
