WR Anthony Gonzalez (2005 All B1G, US Congressman)

Gonzo was huge... I was one the phone at half time with a Badger fan and he kept saying that Ginn needed to get going.... I told him one of the keys was getting Gonzo open and Holmes and Ginn will take care of themselves

Badger fans... eh?

gonzo is one of the few guys on this team that, imho, we can't get the ball to enough. everytime i see him with the ball in his hands i smile. just a flat out great kid and one heck of an athlete.

Just for the record on Gonzo's huge catch late in the game. He went out of bounds on the play with the help of a bump from the defender. The ref saw the play and tossed his hat on the sideline, indicating that he spotted Gonzo's stepping out-of-bounds. In college, the rule is that if the defender pushes you out of bounds, you are able to re-establish position back in bounds and then make a play. That's what Gonzo did, and that's why it was legal.

Could you go over to scUMGOBLUE and explain that to a few of those asshats?
