Ohio State?s Bobby Olive talks about why he?s confident in this team?s chances at winning a national championship and what he thinks of Terrelle Pryor?s influence on the season (run time is 3:00; transcript below).

?..
Editor?s note: This podcast took place before Ohio State?s first game against Marshall.

Lost Lettermen: This is Jose Bosch from LostLettermen.com and I?m being joined by Ohio State?s Bobby Olive. Bobby thank you very much for joining us today.

Now this year, obviously like many year, Ohio State is considered one of the best teams in the country. They?ll probably start the season No. 2 overall in the main preseason polls, they?re on the regional cover of Sports Illustrated for their preview magazine.

I do miss me some Bobby Olive. One of the first WR's I got to watch. *wink emoji*

Also, welcome Kyion. The bar has been set.

Quoting here just to give Bobby Olive a 10-year bump since you mentioned him. Playing at about 6-foot 170, he really was in a similar mold to Olave and Grayes.

As for Bobby now, he’s supposed to be the head coach of the Columbus Indoor football league whenever that actually happens, and is some other IFL team’s WR coach in the meantime.

If Buckeye fans don't remember him that well, I guarantee you that Iowa fans do.

Was that also the game where Ohio State tried a Hail Mary at the end of the half, where the ball bounced off a defender's facemask, right to an Ohio State player, who ran for the touchdown?

Edit: If I had clicked your link and read that article, I would have known that yes, it was the same game.

Last second pass. Jump ahead to 2:23 if you want to see just that play, but watching the whole drive is fun. Obvious passing situation, and they're in split-back formations.

Not gonna lie, even knowing they win, that clip is painful to watch. The combination of the patented Cooper mask of bewilderment and the cluster fuck of a cluster fuck offense was peak Cooper era. If you are too young to remember it, count your blessings.
