WR Braxton Miller (B1G POY, National Champion)

Here's an out of the box question:

Right now, Braxton is trending towards 2,000 yards passing and 1,400 yards rushing in a total of 12 games.

What do you think he's likely to go for next year? He'll likely have an additional 2 games to add stats to.

I hope he goes for 3,000 passing and ~1,000 rushing.

If Vince Young can do it, so can Braxton.

Vince had some solid NFL talent playing with him that year, do keep in mind.
Not saying our guys can't make it at the next level, but you're talking about the first (only) 3000 yard passing and 1k rusher and a 50ppg offense.

High standards for anyone to live too. Especially in a conference that values defense.

Valuing defense and actually having one arent the same thing though

While I won't disagree. This is still a conference that's puts a premium
On that side of the ball. Some middle-success B1G schools might not
have the athletes comparable to their Big 12 counterparts, but the mentality,
Aggressiveness and physical play is there. Does anyone think Vince would
Have put up those numbers in the Big 10 circa 2005? I don't think so.

The fortunate thing for Braxton is that he practices against the most athletic defense he will see in conference and maybe anywhere in the country when we get back to basics.

I personally, like his chances.

Ladies (if there are any here) and Gentlemen, enjoy the next two years. This young man is something special. He makes grown men drop jaws and Grandmas drop F bombs. He has a strong arm and don't get me started on the moves. If he reaches his full potential, Archie,Eddie, and Troy would have a new brother to embrace in Heisman status.

he put 346 yards on us.

projecting from that game, he would have had 3240 passing yards and 912 rushing yards.

Braxton's passer rating for Saturday was 187.92.

This is his 2nd highest rating in his time at tOSU. The only higher rating was for the Nebraska game last year (203.5 - 8 attempts).

It was BY FAR his highest rating for a game with more than 12 attempts. His previous high for passer rating with more than 12 attempts was The Game last year (166.122).
