Zach Smith (Official Thread)

is it really this challenging for people to get that the issue here is not pizza delivery employment and practices? i mean, zach has a long history of questionable and embarrassing behavior on twitter... and yet you think this is about the expected protocol of pizza delivery?

zach's tweet : pizza delivery practices :: tate's tweet : confidence
Oh my bad Twitter behavior. Maybe folks should give less of a shit about Twitter and see it for the waste that it is. If the University has a policy and he is violating it then by all means reprimand him.

you do know twitter doesn't form the content of the tweets, don't you?
And again, if Zach is violating some policy then he should be reprimanded, or did you miss that part of my response? Of course you could just let it go and realize that you don’t have to pay attention to Twitter. It’s kind of like TV or the radio where you can turn it off or change the channel.

What it’s really about is if you already have a problem with Zach or not. You already don’t like him, make this a big deal. You don’t dislike him, make this about pizza.

not for me. case in point: tate. i like tate, but i didn't like the tweet proclamation and stated as much in that thread.
Well Tate doesn’t have anything to do with this. You’ve already shown you don’t like Zach. Diddy doesn’t like Zach. All the anti-Zach posters are making this an issue. Might as well rename this the official thread of confirmation bias until Zach moves on.

I once ordered a pizza at about 1:45 am (place closed at 2) and the guy said they were closed. I asked him why he answered the phone and what he was doing there and the guy said "who do you think cleans this place? the fukkin pizza fairy?" and hung up
When I worked at a pizza place and my shift ended at 11:00, I had to be clocked out at 11:00. If somebody wanted a pizza at 10:45, my options were to make the pizza and risk getting written up and bitched at by morning shift because I didn't clean, or clean and risk pissing off some douchebag who thinks my $8.25/hour salary guarantees fucks given and great service.

The true hero.

I always ordered out on shitty weather days... but I also tipped for those days. Also, only time it's accepted / expected to tip in Japan.

Ran into the same problem when I worked meat dept at King Soopers (Kroger)

Store was 24/7; meat dept closed at 9. They wouldn't let us start prepping until 8:30 ... takes minimum 45min to close. Inevitably you get customers at 8:55... the sign says 9 so you gotta bring the hamburger patties back out for them. It's never somebody who wants a ribeye or tenderloin. Management comes down and starts throwing a fit about overtime... like look bitch, if you want us to advertise that the counter closes at 9 then realize you need to schedule us to be there until 9:30. I'll happily come in 30 minutes later.
After 3rd time I just started coming in 20min late and gave no fucks. Asst Manager asked first couple times and I explained my reasoning.
Fuck those min wage jobs...

If folks have a problem with what Zach tweets, then respond to his tweet that you feel he’s poorly representing tOSU and you take offense to that. Make sure you include Urban and the University. Use Twitter as your social justice sounding board. Isn’t that how all this is supposed to work?

I'm just disappointed cdiddy finally got his address and still shitposting here about him. Whatever that dude's problem is, he should just settle it mano a mano already.

Pretty on point, although I'm actually on the fence about Zach as opposed to being pro or con. I think that next year, being year 2 of Wilson-Day, a year with a throw-first QB (assuming Haskins starts) and plenty of returning WR experience (i.e., no confounding variables) will tell me whether I think Urban should fish or cut bait with Zach. I don't love his Twitter style, but it seems to work for recruiting, and I can live with it if the WRs produce.

I'm ambivalent about Zach. I'm willing to leave it all up to Urban.

Trust the head coach.
