The more I find out about this guy, the more I like him. Seems to be an incredible athlete and receiver prospect. Good size, fast (achored his team's 4x200m relay that went to state), fantastic leaping ability (4th at state in high jump, 1st in long jump!), and reportedly a good route runner as well. These are all the tools you need to be a great receiver.

I remember the first time I saw Devin as a freshman at Ellet. He had that "look" factor about him. Compared to the other players (mostly upperclassmen) he was much more fluid and smooth in everything he did, just a pure athlete. I heard the other day his vertical is in the 40"-42" range!

Even as a sophomore his speed and route running were very good. Had a huge game against a very fast Buchtel team. I believe he ran two kicks back and had over 100yds. receiving and rushing.

He's a great kid. Never got into any kind of trouble at Ellet. Very respectful and well mannered, Tressel kid all the way. I know he hated leaving Ellet and his friends but that program just didn't offer the exposure or a QB to get him the ball enough.

Congrats Devin and Good Luck as a Buckeye!!
