WR Dimitrious Stanley (B1G Champion, Rose Bowl Champion, R.I.P.)

Buckin' A

Veritas Aequitas
My God does he get on my nerves! Would somebody please inform him that he was never anything more than an average reciever with only a handfull of good catches.

After every win he has a few digs on Troy Smith's decisions, Pittman's lack of a cut back, etc... Hell, today he said that he watched Matta's Greg Oden play in high school and that the guy needs to play with more intensity.

Hey Dimitrious, Alvin and the Chipmunks should be getting ready to make their new Christmas album...I'd rather hear you sing with your fellow chipmunks than blather out bullshit about players who are in a league that you could never compair to.

OK, I'm done now.

I have a lot of respect for D.Stan. I like him. He says what he thinks. He was a good player for the Bucks and he can provide insight that some others can't because he has played the game.

Just like any analyst, take what you want from their breakdowns. He sees where Ohio State can still improve and points it out.

You don't get better by dwelling on the things that you do right. D.Stan stll thinks like a player. You break down what went wrong to improve.

I know what you are saying...I just can't stand him. While watching Pitt break a great 24 yard run last week, all Chipmunk could say was, "He should have cut that back the other way." Nothing positive said.

Me too, but JT is the coach...
agreed, and i understand where you are coming from.. but if DS is going to look at only negaitves and nit pick there are two things to keep in mind:
1.) He is nitpicking - its good to be a buckeye
2.) Its DS, i mean.. c'mon, no one could of expected him to be good at what he does, especially now that we're all used to it

I think alot of people dont like DS because of those ugly ass suits he wears on BFF. DS is a former player, so I will take his comments on the game for what they are worth, as he played the game unlike alot of people who think they know more.

DS may not have been a great player at OSU, but I bet he knows more then 90% of us of how the game should be played.

I understand what you're saying, but i've heard alot of fromer players do broadcasts that have no clue what they are doing. In theory, yes a player should make a better broadcaster.
