WR Garrett Wilson (All B1G, 1st Team All American, 2022 OROY, New York Jets)

Congrats GW, even with the Jets I think he succeeds with his talent. Fitting for him and Olave to go back-to-back. Love it and well earned. As an aside, I cannot believe we have not had a WR go in Round 1 since 2007, is that really true? Just did a brief check and I was thinking of Michael Thomas and Devin Smith, but both were 2nd Round. Seems like Ginn and Gonzo were the last ones in the 1st. I doubt that trend continues with all the WR talent we have, or have coming in.

10. GARRETT WILSON, WR - NEW YORK JETS

Wilson was a star at Ohio State and he gives the Jets some much needed firepower in the pass-catching department. The Jets had a universally-loved draft and Wilson can step in right away to help out second-year quarterback Zach Wilson. The stats don’t lie. Wilson got progressively better each year at Ohio State. He finished his final season with the Buckeyes with 70 caches, 1,058 yards, 12 touchdowns and 15.1 yards per catch. He was helped out by playing with Chris Olave in college but he’ll have a smooth transition in the pros with Elijah Moore and Corey Davis also lining up for New York.

It’s a little more than dinners like this as to why they’re broke in 5 years…

It's attitudes like that towards money why they're broke in 5 years. Garrett Wilson is a sharp kid, so I'm not worried about him. I just can't stand the old head mindset that just because they got screwed over or had to be a part of pointless hazing, future generations should to. It's not cute
