WR Julian Fleming (transfer to Ped)

- 1 catch, 1 TD
- yikes. 34-7 at the end of the 1st. 2 defensive scores for Southern. Fleming has gotten more play on defense than offense so far.
- 3rd defensive score at the start of the 2nd quarter. 41-7
- 2nd catch...27 yards, jumped up and over 2 defenders to pull down a pretty poorly thrown ball. Damn.
- Ha....casually shoves a guy to the ground while blocking for a crossing route TD.
- 3rd "catch" was ruled a catch and fumble. Looked like he hadn't secured it and started to do too much as it was wrestled away.
- 4th catch was a crossing route designed for probably <10 yards.....60+ yards for the TD. Wow.

- 5th INT of the game for Southern Columbia.
- Halftime score of 55-7. There will be a running clock to start the 2nd half.
- 2nd half kick gets returned for a TD.....but there's a flag. That's the second kick return that wiped out a SC TD.
- And with 3:00 left in the running clock 3rd, the Southern Columbia coach subs out all his studs. Fleming will finish with 4 catches on 6 targets for 2 TDs and over 100 yards.

I'll just update this post.

No doubt he will come in right away and contribute as a freshman. Not worried at all about losing so much experience in that room. They have an abundance of talent and enough veterans to guide them. Their talent will take over after that.

Agreed. Will have Olave and next year, Wilson will be a seasoned vet. Mix that in with all the talent coming in and we're going to be good. Fleming seems the most game ready to me though... not just athletically (which is impressive), but he's very polished and a physical and willing blocker, which typically equates to early PT. Very excited to see Fleming in action.

Fleming's day is done. My only concern is that he hasn't seen anything in the way of competition outside of practice since he's been in highschool. These teams they played....at least this year......have no business being on the field with these kids.

Why no game against St. Joe's Prep ( McCord and Harrison ) ? Too much enrollment difference ? One team shouldn't be destroying their opponent that bad in a championship game unless the seeding was horrible.

Yea not worried at all about WRs next season. I love Victor, Hill, and Mack but the next few years will be unparalleled not just for OSU but ever.

Jameson, Wilson, Olave, Flemming, Jaxon, Scott, and Cooper? How can anyone stop that?

Southern Columbia is 2A. St Joe's is 6A. SC would get manhandled the way they beat up on their playoff opponents this year against an elite 6A school like St Joe's.
