WR L'Christian Smith (transfer to Cincinnati, transfer to Western Kentucky)

Well, damn,

Didn't see that coming. I know the WR room is stacked and the recruiting is strong but I thought Blue would be a contributor. Good luck to him, hope this works out well for him.
Had to see some writing on the wall. If he didn't become a major contributor this year(which is very likely) he would spend his career on the sidelines at OSU. I also thought that with his athleticism and height, that he'd be an asset in the WR room. But there's so much talent with our WRs and the 2020 WR class is set to be on another level. Best of luck to Blue, many schools in the country would love to have him.

Really hate to see this being an Ohio kid and all. Having said that, the timing is good in terms of this particular recruiting cycle.

Kid has some great tools and wanted to see it work here. If it’s not however, hopefully it works out well for each side.

Bummer we never got to see what he could contribute to Ohio State. But, he's gotta do what's right for him so, but for any time he may suit up against the Buckeyes, good luck to him.

I do wonder if this moves suggests there's a certain early enrollee moving up the depth chart at a strong pace.
The level of competition has been raised. And could get even tougher.

Dave Biddle says he had a minor altercation with a member of the support staff and shortly thereafter called his mom to come pick him up and take him home. Seems like there is a lil growing up there that still needs to happen.
Given his history, I would not hold my breath that Dave will ever demonstrate maturity or progress in these situations.
