By Mike Farrell...Lamaar already has an offer from Maryland. The OSU coaches have been in contact and he says they are his early favorite (they are recruiting him as a DB but he wants to play RB). FSU is also a school he is very interested in.

Teammate of the Haden brothers...

word from the combine is that Thomas may have been extended a verbal offer by the Buckeyes...of course that is competely open to interpretation and can be taken to mean any number of things, but if nothing else I think it shows that OSU is at least serious about recruiting Lamaar.

And before anyone asks, I am not saying that he was offered while he was down there...just that he may have been offered previously by OSU. Again, a verbal offer can mean any number of things.

By Mike Farrell...OSU has offered, joining Illinois and Maryland. He will be at OSU's Pro Day but is currently favoring Illinois and Maryland.

Changing the thread title...

I continue to read in places that people from Maryland think that Thomas is the better prospect of he and Haden...

I like this offer, and would like to think that we could beat out Ill. and Maryland for a prospect, but you never count out the homeschool and some how Ron Zook is able to sell Illinois to big time OOS kids...
