WR Ted Ginn, Jr. (Official Thread)

LightningRod,

Did Ginn not run the 300M hurdles at states or did you mean 300M hurdles instead of 400M? It's been 13 years since I ran high school track, but I believe you are still limited to 4 events. He won the 110 hurdles, 200, and I'm assuming was on the 4x400 relay team so that only leaves one more event. Just trying to rationalize why he would run the open 400 instead of 300 hurdles.

Thanks for the update Clevebuck and Lightningrod. With a very good high school 4x400 relay team you would think that they would have someone else capable of running the open 400 freeing up Ginn for the 300 hurdles. I'm sure they know what they are doing. I'll have to sit down and see if I can remember the order of events.

Glenville's loaded and they do have others who can run the 400, which is what they did last year. But Ginn thought he'd have a better shot at qualifying for olympics in the 400, i believe.

here's the order, off the top of my head

4*800
110 hurdles
100
4*200
1600
4*100
400
300 hurdles
800
200
3200
4*400
i think that's pretty accurate

Roy Hall vs T. Ginn

From the BSB free board:

..superstar WR for the Buckeyes today. He told me that there is no way in "HELL" that Ted Ginn can ever cover him 1 on 1!...He said Ted only weights a "buck65" wet....and would never EVER stop him 1 on 1! He also said Ashton Y will be the next All Americanfor the Buckeyes! And that Dustin Fox just recently broke the all time osu vertigal jump at 42.5 inches a few weeks ago! (Go Dustin!)
Also, Hall ran a 4.37 40.
I've been saying that Roy Hall will be a great receiver. He catches anything thrown near him. He also runs good routes. I saw him in spring practice and he'll be a great one. He'll be a pleasant surprise to Buckeye fans. :osu:
