247 confirms his 4.3, saying it was electronic. I love 4.3

And I love offers after a camp, because it means more than star rankings.

And he fits culturally with the UFM ethic:

McLaurin and his 4.3 (electronically-timed) speed in the 40-yard dash becomes commit No. 13 for Ohio State in the class-of-2014. It wasn?t an easy road to earning a scholarship but it was certainly rewarding.
Following his first camp experience where McLaurin thought he performed well enough to walk away with a scholarship, instead he was handed a challenge.
?Coach Meyer said catch 200 balls a day and work on getting in and out of your routes quicker and work on getting your head around faster and locating the ball, and come back here to camp on the 21st,? McLaurin recapped. ?Part of the big selling point to me was their honesty and them being up front with me.?
McLaurin toured Ohio State the day before the first camp and fell in love. He went back to Indianapolis with a fire to prove he belonged.
?I can say I probably caught well over 1,000 footballs between (Cathedral head) Coach (Rick) Streiff, my mom, my dad, kids around the neighborhood, our former quarterback Connor Barthel and our receivers coach,? McLaurin said. ?It was a total team effort.
?When Coach Meyer offered me, what he said to me he left me with something that I will remember for a very long time. He said the improvement I showed in two weeks, keep working that hard and just imagine how much better I?d get in a year or four years. The thought of getting challenged like that for four years is what you want to be an elite player. That drive for excellence is what I want on a day in, day out basis.?
