AFL NOTES: Entering his fourth season in the AFL and first with the VooDoo, Locke was acquired by the VooDoo from the Columbus Destroyers at the midpoint of the season to add depth to the clubs wide receiver corps. Locke has extensive starting experience in the league.

AFL 2007: Locke appeared in four games for the Columbus Destroyers this season and recorded eight receptions for 96 yards with two touchdowns, while adding 1.5 tackles on defense.

AFL 2006: Played his second season for the Los Angeles Avengers as an Offensive Specialist and finished second on the squad with 75 receptions for 1,128 yards and 16 touchdown catches. (February 25 vs. Utah): Led the Avenger receivers for the second consecutive week with nine catches for 65 yards and two touchdowns. (March 5 at Orlando): Caught six passes for 106 yards and one touchdown, a strike from 36-yards out. (March 12 at San Jose): Hauled in seven passes for 168 yards and three touchdowns, including a 46-yard hookup with QB Sonnie Cumbie. (April 2 at Las Vegas): Caught his fourth 100+ yard game, as he hauled in five passes for 101 yards and two touchdowns. (April 15 at Utah): Led Los Angeles with nine receptions for 142 yards and two touchdown grabs. (April 23 vs. New York): caught three passes for 52 yards and two touchdown receptions. (April 29 vs. San Jose): Led the Avenger receiving corps with six catches for 102 yards. The performance gave him six 100+ yards receiving games in 12 regular season contests played.

AFL 2005: Three weeks after being signed to the Avenger practice squad, he burst upon the scene in Week 4, scoring three touchdowns in the first half of a 71-69 victory over San Jose on Feb. 20, 2005. Locke played in 13 games for the Avengers in 2005, starting 12 of them at offensive specialist. He led the team with 1,182 receiving yards and 27 touchdowns. In addition to catching 82 passes, he returned 20 kickoffs for 272 yards.

AFL 2004: Began the season with the Columbus Destroyers, but played in only two games, catching five passes for 36 yards.

OTHER PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE: Locke had a record-breaking season in arenafootball2 (the developmental league established by the AFL in 1999) in 2004. Locke joined af2's Albany Conquest in 2004. He established a single-season Conquest record, scoring 43 touchdowns (39 receiving, three kickoff returns, one rushing) and was ranked second in the league in scoring. Locke was also among the af2 leaders in receiving with 79 receptions for 1,497 yards. He was second in the league with a total of 2,868 all-purpose yards. Locke also played in af2 during the 2003 season, catching 22 passes for 298 yards and five touchdowns for the Cincinnati Swarm, in addition to returning 21 kickoffs for 478 yards and two scores.
College
A two-year letterman at Ohio State University (Columbus, Ohio), Locke played in 20 games, seeing the majority of his action on special teams. He finished his Buckeye career with three receptions for 29 yards and recorded 2.5 tackles. After enrolling at Ohio State on an academic scholarship, Locke decided to walk-on to the Buckeye football team in the spring of 1998 (he also worked out with and was invited to walk-on to the Ohio State basketball team). He concluded his collegiate career on an athletic scholarship in 2000.
Personal
At Urbana (Ohio) High School, Locke was the football school's Most Valuable Player as a senior. He earned All-Area recognition as both a junior and senior. Locke was also a member of the Urbana basketball and track & field squads. He was born in Springfield, Ohio, 12/3/80. Earned a biology degree (pre-med) from Ohio State. Is a member of the Screen Actors Guild. Played the role of Ray Rhodes in the 2006 hit movie "Invincible" (at the time depicted in the film [1976], Rhodes [currently a defensive assistant coach with the NFLs Seattle Seahawks and previously the Head Coach of the Philadelphia Eagles and Green Bay Packers] was a wide receiver and punt returner for the New York Giants).
