WR Torrance Gibson (Green Bay Blizzard)

Didn't realize this until I saw his film for the first time tonight, but he's a lefty. That'll be something opposing defenses will have to practice to prepare for him at the next level.

Has a body type similar to Pryor (looks lean, but he's solid), runs like an interesting hybrid of Pryor & Ginn, and throws accurately. Thinking of the things Urban & Herman could run with Gibson makes you smile. One you want committing early to your program and helps recruit the dickens out of the best players in the country.

On 247, I saw a tweet where someone said he's like the left handed Pryor. That's some high praise. I always wanted to know what urban and Herman could do with a talent th size of TP, and now we may get to find out. I can see Torrance trending our way, since Miami runs more of a pro style offense and has Olsen, kaaya and rosier as their future QBs. it'll be interesting to follow his year as every school in the country is after him. I'd like for him as well to bring in talent, especially from south Florida

Two things I noticed, other than the ridiculous athleticism, is that some of those deep passes were fit into areas and perfectly laid in there. The other thing is that he looks fantastic in the read option from what it showed. His head and eyes are always up looking downfield. Give him some time to get polish. He's the best player on the field already.

Pryor was on another level. Guys like him come around once in a while. Torrance is on that level. Believe that.
High praise. Strictly speaking of his ability to throw and accurately complete passes how do you see him? Clearly he's next level athletically, do you see him in the same light with the fundamentals of being a complete QB? Not saying he is or isn't, just picking your brain.

He needs work like most young QBs. Pryor needed work to. But if he can progress like Pryor did physically, I don't see any reason why he can't have a similar impact at the next level. On his 2013 highlight tape there are some nice need balls he throws. You don't get to see a lot of intermediate throws in that film...just a ton of athleticism and some deep throws. I want to see him in a camp setting this summer before I go in depth on his throwing ability and mechanics but we are talking about a kid, like Pryor, that has the physical tools to be an NFL draft pick at a couple of different positions. Luckily for OSU, they like him at QB because that is where he wants to be recruited.

I know we're in on a lot of QBs for the 2015 class and it wouldn't be good to wait on Gibson until late in the process only to have him go somewhere else. Will the staff hold off on accepting a QB commitment for Gibson?
