Wrestling Chat (WWF, WWE, WCW, etc.)

*pfffft* That stuff was just theatrics. Old school is Georgia Championship Wrestling with the late Gordon Solie.

You might recognize Ric Flair and Teddy Long, and Jim Ross on the play by play. Hell, Sting was still going at it in TNA last I saw.

Interesting what some consider old school verses others. Guess it depends on what era you watched as a kid.

When I saw the thread title, I assumed it would be what I consider "old school" which is 1980's Hulk Hogan, Andre the Giant, Randy Savage, Million Dollar Man wrestling.

However, I did wonder if by "old school", there might be references to Bruno Sammartino, Killer Kowalski, Billy Graham, and Bob Backlund.

Never world have guessed some would consider "old school" what I consider 2nd wave WWF wrestling with HHH, Steve Austin, Brett Hart, and Undertaker/Mankind.

How about Ric Flair versus Bobo Brazil from 1975? Watch out for the Coconut Head Butt, Nature Boy, or you're finished!
