it certainly was. shame is most of the matches were very good to great. the two night format was outstanding. give me two 3 hour shows instead of 1 six hour marathon where i lose all interest by 9pm.
I really enjoyed Mania this year. The match quality was excellent, and I really liked the two day event.
I would have preferred a crowd, but thought everyone really stepped up.

Some of the matches were unnecessary...Black and Lashley, the Raw tag belts...but most of the quality was good, especially in the women’s matches. Personally I hate “finisher” matches, where the only thing they hit are multiple finishers, and both world title matches were extremely disappointing in that regard. At least the right guys won, I guess.

Finisher matches are lame, I agree. I fully understand how Oldberg and Strowman needed to, but Brock/Drew?? Those guys can work.

Match 1: Charlotte Flair vs. Rhea Ripley

NXT Women's Championship -- Rhea Ripley (c) vs. Charlotte Flair: The first match of night two delivered in a big way. The women battled for almost 30 minutes with convincing near falls throughout for both. Ripley hit Riptide very early in the match but couldn't get the 1-2-3, allowing Flair to storm back with an all-out attack on the champion's leg. Ripley fought off Flair's trademark Figure Eight multiple times throughout the bout, storming back again and again. Ripley also locked Flair in her inverted standing Cloverleaf submission but was unable to get the tap out. Finally, the accumulated damage to Ripley's leg caught up to her and Flair was able to lock in the submission, bridging fully for the added pressure to force Ripley to tap out and win the title. The two women deserve tremendous credit for putting on a dramatic match at a perfect pace to push past the obvious hurdle of no crowd in attendance. This is one of the stand-out bouts of the weekend. Flair def. Ripley via submission to win the title -- Grade: A-

Rhea Ripley has a huge ass....

Overall I thought it was pretty good. The two night format worked pretty well I thought.

WPInsider report Ripley returned to Australia on Monday - a day after Mania' - and must now get her visa renewed but it is unknown when she will be able to return to America amid the coronavirus pandemic.

The 23-year-old - real name Demi Bennett - lost her NXT title to Charlotte Flair in a shock defeat on the weekend.

Fans were gobsmacked the rising star was pinned with speculation the loss was forced upon her following Ripley's visa issues.

The WWE - who have been behind closed doors for three weeks - are planning on taping a mass amount of content this week beginning on Friday with SmackDown.

They had already taped Monday's episode of WWE Raw and Wednesday's NXT.

It is claimed WWE bosses want to record three episodes of SmackDown, three episodes of Raw, and "multiple" episodes of NXT through next week.

But Ripley will not be part of these tapings as she heads back home and will be have to quarantine following her international travel.
