No Ohio State offer yet, but recently ranked a 4*, #10 OLB in the country, and #5 player in the state of Ohio by 247 (rivals and scout haven't rated him yet). If you watch the highlights, will challenge Dallas Gant BIG time for the title of being the best in-state LB

What's pretty incredible to me is that he seems to be about a step slow diagnosing the play, yet is still the first guy there to make the play. He'll have to get that corrected because he won't be able to get bu with that at the next level.

Freak athlete though.

Lakota (Ohio) West linebacker Xavier Peters noted the relationship he has recently formed with Davis and admires OSU’s honesty.

“It’s been really well because we’re starting to build a bond that I really like,” Peters said of Davis. “The schools that I visit, they tell me things I’m doing good on. But when you visit Ohio State, they tell you about the things you need to work on and what you need to develop. That’s the thing that I love about that school. You’ve just got to compete every second.”

One of the schools that has not offered Peters to date is in-state power Ohio State, but he has had contact with the Buckeye staff.

"They just keep telling me to keep up the hard work and come to their camp this summer," he noted. "They said they want to see my ACT score before they offer. I got a 3.0 GPA this last grading period, and Coach (Urban) Meyer was excited about that."

"The Ohio State offer is one I'd love to have," Peters admitted. "That's another big time program, and that would be a dream come true for me."
