I had no idea Zook and Carrol came through tOSU. If they did thats great, what and when did Carrol and Zook do at tOSU?

Ron Zook--1988-90 Ohio State (Defensive Backs)

Pete Carrol--...and then a season each as an assistant in charge of the secondary at Iowa State (1978) under Earle Bruce (the Cyclones played in the 1978 Hall of Fame Bowl) and at Ohio State (1979) under Bruce.

Too bad. I like Gerry DiNardo...the guy never gets pissed on the sidelines, always cool and calm.

The thing that needs work is their defense. In 2002 they gave up 41+ points in five games and and 37 ppg for the season. Last year they gave up at least 31 points in each of their first 10 games except in their third game against I-AA Indiana State. This year they gave up 30+ points six times, including 51 to Kentucky and 63 to Purdue in their finale.

Unbelievable. You can bet the success that Tuberville had at Auburn this year probably had something to do with it. I thought Cutcliffe did a fair job, but just had a bad team this year.
