Youngstown State 68, Georgia 56

I have to question why Kentavious Caldwell-Pope is suiting up for Georgia. After all, he's the only Bulldog who made a field goal the entire first half of the loss to the Penguins. Why should a former 5-star recruit stick with Georgia hoops when the basketball team sucks and they're a football school? Pope is by far the best player on the team. The [Mark May]ty Georgia basketball attendance made it look like it was a JV game. I know Georgia is his home state, but man there have to be other options that are fairly close to home where he's not going to get his ass handed to him all year.

This actually is not that surprising of a result--YSU has a fairly good team this year, already having won at George Washington before knocking off Georgia.

GW was 10-21 last year. They've fallen hard since their 26-1 season a few years back. YSU could contend in the Butler-less Horizon this year, but a win in SEC country will always be cause for minor celebration.

Georgia rebounded by promptly losing another home game to Southern Miss. Next up: #1 Indiana.

By the way, the listed attendance at the YSU loss was 4,275 - it didn't even look like the "crowd" was half that big on TV.
