Youngstown State Penguins (Official Thread)

That gets you 2 years, but boats and hoes gets you nothing?

Three years of probation from Oct. 22, 2013, through Oct. 21, 2016.

For Miami, there's little celebrating as NCAA probation ends

For the Miami Hurricanes, one of the most tumultuous chapters in program history is officially ending.

Saturday marked the end of the three-year NCAA probation period stemming from the investigation into the actions of former booster Nevin Shapiro, a convicted Ponzi schemer, who said he doled out thousands of dollars worth of improper benefits to Miami athletes for years.

Since they had past NCAA violations in 1968-1992, 1994, and 1995 (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2011_University_of_Miami_athletics_scandal), they should have gotten the "death sentence"; however, for the "hoes on the boat" violations, didn't the 'Canes get 3 years?

Man, just proves how hard JT killed that program that I didn't even notice their probation. Thanks for the correction.

Youngstown State 44, Incarnate Word 41, OT

Thrilling OT win in the opener that only diehards saw because it was played at the same time as the Buckeyes-Gophers game.

Next Saturday the Penguins visit Sparty. That probably won't end well.

This obviously demands an investigation.

Any team with helmets like this (regardless of their record) shouldn't be in any playoffs.
