Oh HELL YEA this is fun. Going back many moons ago, hadda love Kurt Gowdy constantly refer to Randy Gradishar as "Grandishar" in the 1973 Rose Bowl. I always referred to Randy as "Grandishar" for his entire NFL career.
Going back to the 80's in a basketball game (don't remember who we were playing, and it was on a station like espn/tbs/usa/ whatever) Tony Campbell was averaging like about 30 points a game and the announcer called him "Vince" Campbell the entire game. Finally corrected himself with about 10 seconds left in the game , but it was too late, and "Vince" it was.
AND, "San-Antonio" Holmes may be the best one ever.
If I remember correctly, that was the Bowl Game against Okie St.Peace

There's a new one for you then. I think they need to bump up the font on the roster they give to Ron Franklin, because he mistook the third letter of Denlinger's name for an "r".
