Your reaction at that time?

My reaction to what I'm seeing right now - Vince Young is eviscerating U$C's defense.

It's too bad he never really got the hype that the overrated punk Leinart did or, for that matter, Our Lord and Savior Tim Tebow, Bless His Name

When the pass fell incomplete to Gamble, I thought to myself "no big deal, that was obviously defensive holding. Automatic first down." Actually looking back on it, I'm shocked at how calm I remained. I also think that if the actual call was defensive holding (which I still think it should have been), the replays would have focused on the time BEFORE the ball was thrown and the penalty would have been completely obvious. But, the jackasses kept focusing on the moment the ball got to Gamble, ignoring the rest of the play like a bunch of morons.

When Grant threw Dorsey in a circle and the ball fell incomplete, I really didn't know what to do. I just sat and stared... about 10 other guys around me (at my brother's house) were jumping and tackling and screaming, and I didn't even move. I had no clue what to say or do. Then my mom called me and I really couldn't figure out what to say. So, I watched about 3 hours of post game, drove home, and started watching the game all over from the beginning on tape.

I remember two days later was the Browns and Steelers wildcard game. I watched the Browns implode in the second half and lose (again...) to the hated Steelers. I was smiling the entire time. Who gives a rat's ass about the Browns??? THE Ohio State Buckeyes are National Champs, Bitches!

The entire 4th quarter, I was sitting on a couch, with my hands clasped together, the thumbs under my chin. I didn't move, I didn't talk to anyone, I don't even remember blinking.

I stayed that way until we batted down the ball on Dorsey's last attempt, then I went crazy and ran outside.

I remember watching a replay of the final play with my grandfather. He said something silly like, "Why didn't Fox catch that?" I asked if it mattered, and he responded, "Well, no.." He was always an Ohio State fan (since moving to Columbus), but he never took the results of a football game too seriously. I get the feeling, though, that he was pretty nervous at the end of that game.
