Your Tax Rebate:

The federal government is sending each and everyone of us a $600 rebate.
If we spend that money at Wal-Mart, the money will go to China . If we
spend it on gasoline it will go to the Arabs. If we purchase a computer it will
go to India . If we purchase fruit and vegetables it will go to Mexico ,
Honduras, and Guatemala . If we purchase a good car it will go to Japan . If we
purchase useless crap it will go to Taiwan ...and none of it will help
the American economy. The only way to keep that money here at home is to buy
prostitutes, weed, beer, and tattoos, since these are the only products
still produced in the USA . Thank you for your help & please support the US.

Some good news is that we just went past "tax free day" . Thats right, we have now stopped working to pay the feds and are now earning money for ourselves. OH JOY! :tongue2:

There is a payment schedule based on the last 2 digits of your SSN.

Direct Deposit: Depending on the last two numbers of your Social Security Number, your rebate should be deposited by:
00-20: May 2
21-75: May 9
76-99: May 16
By Mail: Depending on the last two numbers of your Social Security Number, your rebate check should be mailed by:
00-09: May 16
10-18: May 23
19-25: May 30
26-38: June 6
39-51: June 13
52-63: June 20
64-75: June 27
76-87: July 4
88-99: July 11

I used Direct Deposit as well, but I read an article that said even those who used DD would be spread over the first few weeks of May, determined by the last two digits of your SS#...lower #s started being deposited last week of April...highest last two digits (75-99 i think it said, which I am in that group :() would be deposited by May 16th.

I believe the computer system handling the deposits would run at a rate of approx. 200,000 transaction per day, but that there were certain days that deposits would not be made, etc.

Anyway, you should have your deposit on or before the 16th.
