Zach Smith (Official Thread)

My guess is he's at 14th because he's recruiting in some of the most competitive regions in the country(FL, and west coast) and trying to bring warm weather kids to Columbus, OH. While fighting off home state schools, and schools most close to their own region who are probably attracting a recruit's friends and teammates as well. It has to be tough, even with the armor of OSU on your back to walk into, say Belle Glade or Apopka, FL, San Bernadino or Rancho Cucamonga, CA and try and pull kids. He does it, and has done a good job of getting some kids, but he has a more uphill battle than say Schiano in NJ or PA, Coombs(when he was here) going into a home in Cincinnati or Detroit or LJsr walking into a kids home in the DMV. Just my $.02

What a dumb assed poll.

A) Larry Johnson behind The Schmails Kid. Right.

B) by definition it would be impossible for a non traditional tier 1 program assistant to be top 20 recruiter. A dead cat should be top 15 if he coached at OSU under Urban Meyer.

How do they quantify these rankings?

Spaulding has been the longest tenured coach on Urban’s staff yet remains the lowest paid. Nuff said.

Yes, all dead feline buckeyes are automatically better at recruiting than the almost all of the 150 other alive cats at the other schools.

You're nothing if not consistently terrible.
