Same HS as MHjr and McCord, Lock has visite West last week. Decommitted today, and will visit OSU this weekend.

Has to be a 3 RB class at this point with all the offers that have gone out. Obviously Davidson and Jackson are the top priorities, but then there is a whole field of guys at this point that recently got offers despite being in the lead for Davidson and Jackson. I don't think these offers are insurance policies at all. With Henderson and most likely Judkins gone after this year, I suppose it makes sense.

Per a 11w poster:

I believe they want and feel they need 3 RB’s in the class. You gotta find the 3 that are ok with that tho. Locklyn says he wants a rb room that acts as ONE. If the Ohio guys don’t want that, you can’t make them or change how you do things to appease them when there are other talented ones that do.

Makes a lot of sense. With CFB going up to 17gms, depth will be needed. OSU fans know about depleted RB rooms all too well the past few years.

Absolutely true, I think fans (or at least me) forgot considerations like the new schedule and how it might impact recruiting. We already experienced attrition at RB with fewer potential games. If we're planning on a Natty run as we are every year, you've gotta have the horses. Going to have to look at this kid's film if he commits.

Though he’s slightly bigger, his running style reminds me of Boom Herron. Or even some of the Broncos RBs in the Shanahan heyday. 1 cut and he hits the hole, no dancing, no highlight leap over the defender or cute spin move. He hits the defender in the mouth and keeps going forward.

Loved Boom Herron. Underrated, in my opinion. He was a solid back who rarely lost yards, never danced, and seemed to always know his assignment. Pound for pound, just a tough kid. If West is a like Boom, I'm all in.
