WHAT TO WATCH Anyone wearing a St. Thomas Aquinas uniform, especially a defender, who saw action against Warren JFK last season should have a lot of incentive. Tony Elzy rushed 438 yards on 35 carries and scored seven TDs against the Knights. None of Elzy’s TD runs were less than 10 yards. One was 78 yards. Elzy, now a senior, has not slowed down. He ran for 184 yards and four TDs against Erie Central Prep. Aquinas must rebound from a tough loss at Columbus Hartley. The Knights jumped to a 10-0 halftime lead before Hartley rallied in the third quarter. The Aquinas running game rolled up 283 yards last week. Junior Kendall Washington rushed for a game-high 153 yards on 16 carries. The Knights lead this series, 12-2.

Anthony Elzy playing well
Extra Points
November 13, 2010 - Ed Puskas

A bit of non-Ohio State news on a college football Saturday: former John F. Kennedy star Anthony Elzy has moved into the role of feature back for North Carolina after some injuries, and he is playing well today.

Elzy has run for 65 yards, including a 1-yard touchdown, as the Tar Heels lead No. 20 Virginia Tech, 10-9, at halftime today. The Hokies are looking to move to 8-2 and 6-0 in the ACC, but it appears they're involved in a battle in Chapel Hill.

Last week, Elzy caught a 14-yard touchdown pass in North Carolina's 37-35 road victory over Florida State.
