A dominating left tackle prospect, Claytor is big, mobile, and tough. He played the second half of a playoff game with a broken ankle as a junior. A good student, Claytor projects as a full qualifier.

Georgia Linemen To Check Out Clemson

OL Nick Claytor (6-6 308) and C.J. Woods (6-5 270) of Gainesvile, GA said Tuesday night they will attend junior day at Clemson this Saturday. Claytor was offered by Georgia Tech Tuesday, his first official offer. "It feels pretty good to get my first offer," Claytor said. He is also drawing interest from Florida, Auburn, Ohio State and Georgia. He has been to junior days at Georgia and Georgia Tech. This will be the first junior day stop for Woods who has not yet been offered. He said he is also getting interest from Florida, Arkansas and Louisville.

Nick enjoyed but Clemson's Junior Day but the Tigers want to see him in camp before offering. He holds offers from Georgia Tech, Florida (verbal), and Auburn (verbal). He lists GT as his favorite with Florida, Auburn, Georgia, Clemson and Ohio State also on his mind.

Offers Increasing For Claytor

OL Nick Claytor (6-6 312) of Gainesville, GA has one written offer and verbal offers from three more schools at this point. Georgia Tech was the first to offer and that one is in writing. Claytor said Thursday Indiana, Florida and Auburn have made verbal offers. Clemson also remains interested. "They said they want to me to wait until I come to their camp and they will decide if they are going to offer," Claytor said. Claytor said he will attend a summer camp at Clemson and will be at the Nike camp there in May. Claytor will take an unofficial visit to Auburn this weekend and will go to Florida April 1st. He's also getting interest from Maryland, Duke, Ohio State and Georgia. He's favoring Georgia Tech.

Good article on Claytor. It again mentions that he is from Toledo and that he has the Buckeyes right behind GT along with UF and Georgia. Also there is a video on the front page of their football recruiting page with a blurb about Claytor being possibly the top tackle prospect in Georgia next year. Sounds like we are in decent shape.
