Big, strong RB. Moves well and adjusts quickly on defense. Looks like a weapon on defense against the spread.

And can also hit...

Let me say something about this kid,

HE IS THE TEAM.

What little success Ransom Everglades had (they are private school in southern Miami right along Biscayne Bay). It's not in a competitive league compared to something like where Jaamal Berry plays a bit further south at Miami Palmetto, but Ransom is one of the more known traditional private schools here for football along with Gulliver and of course powerhouse Miami Columbus (which plays in 6A ball).

This guy regularly was a 100 yard on the ground per game dude and with little if any supporting staff was able to do a very decent job. A true one-man gang.

College Football Recruiting On the Trail 2009 - ESPN

Tar Heels behind Gators for Gideon Ajagbe
2010 ESPNU 150 Watch List prospect Gideon Ajagbe told affiliate Web site GatorCountry.com, "Florida is still number one on my list. I love the coaches and I have a really good bond with them and they really care about me."

However, the 6-foot-2, 197-pounder also discussed an out-of-state school that's in the mix, "UNC is my number two right now. Both UNC and Florida have great science programs and I am also going to college to get an education, I want to be a nutritionist when it is all said and done and both schools have really good programs, so that is another thing that helps them."

Other programs such as Central Florida, Ohio State, Boston College and Connecticut have also offered Ajagbe.

Scout.com: FLORIDA: Pre-Spring Hot 100: 81-90

81. Gideon Ajagbe, LB, 6'2, 200, Miami (Ransom Everglades)
The Skinny: One of Florida's top natural athletes, Ajagbe has all the tools to play OLB. Ajagbe plays RB as well in high school and if he picks up an inch or two, could transition to TE where his natural gait and speed would see him getting down the middle of the field. He has large hands and a longer type stride.
Recruiting: Ajagbe claims offers from Florida, Florida State, Boston College, USF, UCF, Tennessee, and several others.

FWIW, neither Rivals nor Scout lists an OSU offer...changing the thread title...

Gideon Ajagbe - College Football Recruiting 2010 - ESPN

Commits to Florida.

Ajagbe may look around some at schools such as North Carolina, N.C. State, Wake Forest, Duke and Ohio State, but still figures to be a Gator when its all said and done, "I told (head coach Urban Meyer) that I want to take all my visits, but that in the end I'll likely still be a Gator. I don't think Coach Meyer will be too happy about that, but I hope he respects my wishes."
