'10 OH OL Matt James (Notre Dame Signee - RIP)

It seems that Florida is running out of space at the Inn seeing as they can only sign 28 and are at 24 or so currently. Maybe it was a mutual decision?

The situation at Tennessee has made Chaz Green much more obtainable, I think he's taken Matt James' spot as the last OL we're still recruiting along with Henderson.

??? - Never heard anything about OSU dropping their recruitment of James. Also, haven't heard anything in a long time in regards to OSU's recruitment of Chaz Green.

i dont' know, it seems like since they are announcing the same day or maybe he announces just before Seantrel, that he's gonna make a decision and sign with that team regardless of Seantrel's choice. If Seantrel made his commitment weeks or even months before Matt then I might be worried that James would reconsider a school that Henderson picked. There are five OLine spots afterall.

James say's that tOSU is in the lead right now. Other than an outright commitment, you can't ask for anything more. He knows that out of all his options, tOSU is the most constant, steady, and sure situation that exists. Also, the thought of being on the same OL as Norwell and Henderson, must be pretty appealing.

Also, blocking for the likes of Berry, Hall, Smith and Hyde can't hurt either. These guys are the type of runners that coupled with a good OL, can dominate on the gridiron.

And then there's the VEST.....

I like our chances...

You mean somebody finally didn't go for the "I had a dream and God told me I was going to be your coach" BS? Funny thing is, you would think it would work on the kid coming from the Catholic school who is surrounded by God talk, prayer and church every day. Maybe Urban went to the well one too many times w/ that one and everyone is catching on.....lol

:oh::io:

Catholicism and Protestant Evangelicism are not exactly in perfect harmony. Google "Blaine amendments" if you have any doubts.

don't get it. they have 2 qb's committed already, and this kid is not ND material IMO. if it's a ploy to get James, it makes little sense to me.
Probably...or it could be Kelly tapping into his Cinci recruiting bed. Neither Pike or the other kid (name escapes me) were very highly touted. Maybe he thinks he can get by with those types of recruits at ND.
