Joining Henderson at Michigan?s spring practice were Johnstown (Ohio) Monroe offensive tackle Skyler Schofner (6-7, 275), Celina, Texas, linebacker Caleb Lavey (6-4, 220), Ann Arbor Huron wide receiver Jeremy Jackson and Detroit Southeastern defensive end William Gholston. Each of the aforementioned prospects has already been offered a scholarship by Michigan.
Having so many top prospects on campus at one time provides Michigan an opportunity to showcase its program, but it also allows top recruits to get to know one another. Henderson and Schofner, specifically, met for the first time and Schofner revealed what two of the Midwest?s top offensive tackle prospects discuss in a meeting like that.
"We talked about colleges and talked about grades and everything,? Schofner said. ?He's a pretty cool guy and we got along pretty well.?
