Well I hope he doesn't expect half the assets. But in all seriousness, no need to get bent out of shape yet. Kid committed too early and we are still in the game if we still want him.

Best of luck to the kid as he makes his decision. Clearly committed to early, and when you're makin the biggest decision to date in your life, ya gotta take your time. Good to see him doing that. Still hope he ends up with the good guys :)

Scout $ - Marshall has New Plan

2/14

By Sam Webb...says he told Coach Meyer and he was understanding...then informed Coach Dantonio and Coach Hoke...still likes OSU and Coach Coombs but wants to slow things down...visiting MSU again this weekend and Michigan the following weekend and plans to visit Columbus again soon.

An honest mistake...got caught up in a great visit to OSU with some great salesmen with a great product to sell. Didn't even have his family with him at the time. Can't blame for wanting to hit the reset button. Love his potential and would love to have him but OSU will continue to target other elite DEs...

No Big Deal..but I wish we could come up with a better word than commitment..Lawrence needs to chose a school in his own time ..

agreed and not trying to be rude but he really shouldnt still have a Buckeye Leaf on his thread until he is 100% sure. Good Luck Lawrence

11 Warriors article states he was with his sister and mom

How did you deliver the news to the staff?
I had a meeting with Coach Meyer in his office on Sunday morning. It was me, my mother, my sister, Coach Coombs, and Coach Meyer. Coach Meyer asked me when I thought I might end my recruiting process. I told them "right now, I want to be a Buckeye." Everybody in the room flipped out. The coaches did not expect that. My family wasn't expecting it either. I surprised everyone in the room. My family was on board with the decision. It was a great feeling.

FYI i believe you Wade over 11 Warriors

That's looking strongly to be either Notre Dame or Michigan.

I was shocked by Marshall's quick reaction, I'm not sure how anyone can say they weren't.

Marshall's a young guy who has second thoughts. No big deal from OSU's perspective--I'm sure the OSU staff just wants Marshall to do what is best for him. Not sure why you and other Michigan fans are so quick to jump all over him (for example, saying you're "shocked" by what he's done).

I don't think he's jumping all over anyone. He might be trolling a bit re: OSU's chances with McDowell. But he isn't all over Marshall. Most people were shocked by his quick commitment to the Buckeyes.

Eh, maybe we read it differently, but he said he was "shocked" by Marshall's "quick reaction." They were the Michigan fan's words, not mine. Seems evident to me that he's calling into question Marshall's decision-making.
