'15 QB Kai Locksley tells me Ohio State has offered. Looking to visit for the Wisconsin game.

Not so fast my friend. Former Buckeye linebacker Stan White is a coach at Gilman.

Also, keep in mind that Baltimore is not the same sort of environment Diggs or Prince were in. Bmore is much more removed from the DMV area, and while UMD might be the "home team", there's not the same sort of pride that exists in Montogmery or Prince George's Counties (the ones bordering DC).

Everything you say is true but Kai being around the program 247 has to play some factor.

And although he goes to school in Bmore I believe he lives in the DMV.

But with all that being said, I wouldn't be shocked if he attends school out of state.

Nationally ranked Manatee routs Gilman in football

. . .
The Greyhounds took over at the Manatee 45 and needed only five plays to score to trim the lead to 10-6. Locksley faked a handoff to Bijan Rhett and rolled around the right side for a 10-yard touchdown run. The two-point conversion failed.
. . .
The Greyhounds closed the gap to 17-14 in the middle of the second quarter on Rhett’s 6-yard run and 2-point conversion pass from Locksley to Antonio Dupree.

The only logical discussion would go something like this - hey coach, we have an opening coaching position on our staff, do you want to help coach the buckeyes?

Mike would be an interesting candidate if drayton or Herman left, if you figure the DWI was a one time mistake.

He can recruit his butt off, convincing about two dozen black kids from the DMV to come to New Mexico, including OSU transfer Lamaar Thomas. Regis Benn and Vontae Davis from that area were studs at Illinois.

Locksley also was the recruiting coordinator for the 04-05 Florida classes, names like Derrick Harvey (MD), Louis Murphy and David Nelson. No megastars but a lot of contributors to the 06/08 national championship teams.

After meeting Kai Locksley nearly 10 years ago, Urban Meyer now recruiting the QB to Ohio State: Buckeyes recruiting

COLUMBUS, Ohio – Urban Meyer’s first order of business when he took the head coaching position at Florida in 2005 was to lock down a premier staff, and he found one piece on the previous staff he definitely wanted to keep with the Gators.

That piece was running backs coach Mike Locksley. So in an attempt to retain Locksley, Meyer went to his house in the middle of the night for an impromptu meeting.

In the end, Meyer was unsuccessful in keeping Locksley, who instead opted to follow Ron Zook to Illinois to become the offensive coordinator before ultimately finding success coaching former Illini quarterback Juice Williams.

But nearly 10 years later, that meeting may not have been for nothing.

That’s because that evening Meyer met Locksley’s son, six-year-old Kai, who has now grown into one of the top quarterback prospects in the 2015 recruiting class.

COLUMBUS, Ohio – Urban Meyer already had Ohio State in favorable positioning in the recruitment of 2015 quarterback Kai Locksley, but then the product of Baltimore (Md.) Gilman School saw a night game in Ohio Stadium.

Locksley was in attendance for Ohio State’s 31-24 win over Wisconsin on Sept. 28, the game in which Meyer specifically designed to be a showcase for his program. Meyer's strategy worked.
