The list of colleges that want Roselle Catholic guard Malachi Richardson got even longer on Thursday when he picked up an offer from Big Ten power Ohio State University.

Richardson already has offers from Indiana, Rutgers, Seton Hall, Cincinnati, Maryland and Miami. An offer from Kansas is expected soon, while Georgetown and Villanova are also expressing interest.

In the most recent ESPN 60 for the class of 2015, Richardson comes in at No. 11 overall and is a five-star prospect. He?s got offers from several high-major schools besides IU, including Cincinnati, Georgetown, Kansas, Maryland, Miami (FL), Minnesota, Ohio State and others.

But the Hoosiers, who have recruited Richardson diligently since last fall, are standing out.

?Indiana?s still at the top of the list,? Richardson said, while also mentioning Georgetown, Florida and Connecticut as showing heavy interest.

Richardson Sets Indiana Visit, Planning Others

Malachi Richardson will visit Indiana unofficially Aug. 24, he told SNY.tv Sunday.

?I love the coaching staff, that?s my main thing,? said Richardson, who just announced he was transferring back to Trenton (N.J.) Catholic from Roselle (N.J.) Catholic. ?Great coaching staff and great feel for the coaches.?

The 6-foot-5 Richardson ? the No. 19 prospect in the Class of 2015 according to Rivals ? grew up as a Syracuse and Indiana fan.

He?s also planning several September visits.

?I?ll be visiting Georgetown, UConn, Ohio State and Syracuse in September,? he said, adding that no dates had been set.

Richardson had planned to visit Miami and Florida while he was in Orlando for AAU Nationals.

?My mom didn?t fly down to Orlando with me so things had to get cancelled,? he said, adding that he will still visit those schools ?later down the line.?
