2005 Alamo Bowl: Nebraska 32, Michigan 28 (final)

Unfortunately my friends, I expect next year to be LLLLLLoyds last at TSUN, not that it matters...like I said earlier, I'll take JT against any coach out there.

I think unless they have another 5-loss season next year, Carr will get at least two more seasons. But, if he losses at least three games with one of those being to us, both next year and in 2007, then he'll get canned.

In all honesty, I can't see him winning in South Bend, or at the Shoe next year. Add one other sure loss during the season at some point, and that really looks like his last season. Hermann has been unable to adapt to the changing landscape of offenses in CFB, and his blind loyalty will be his downfall. His stubborness against change has been his problem. Looks to me unless something changes on his staff, he's done. Losing to the Irish and to us will be huge. I think he will be pressured out. The unrest in their fanbase is already growing after tonights debacle.

No, but then we don't follow a football team with people who expose themselves on sorority doorsteps either!:)

Has anybody ever felt like doing your nails after a loss?

I'm thinking of <HR>a four-letter word that rhymes with duck. I want to type that word in big bold capital letters with many exclamation points! Use your imagination. That is how mad I am right now. At everything too. Everything. I wish I was born a woman and doing my nails right now. These games are too emotionally draining.

Odds of me getting arrested tonight = very good.

Sorry for the rant.

scUM

I hate to say this but I feel a "little" bit bad for the hated wolverines. To lose to a team like Nebraska must be the ultimate insult to the average scUM fan. I actually wanted scUM to win by a couple of points, just to have the Big 10 win against a lowly Big 12 opponent. You have to wonder, is scUM capable of beating any Big 12 team?

This team wont compete for the next 3 seasons for NC. If you have tickets sell them now. Go watch HS football in Ohio or detroit catholic league next year. B/C both in-state teams suck and the pro team sucks.
I wish I could rep the Wolverine that said this.

I was disappointed last night when I turned off the TV and went to bed. UM should've won that game and done the Big-10 proud, but once against Carr and Herrman orchestrate an epic collapse in the second half of the fourth quarter to steal defeat from the jaws of victory. I will say this though, thank God Ecker is a Wolverine and found a way to involve himself in the play.

Consider the alternative:

Ecker laterals to Breaston, Breaston scores and UM wins. The UM win, the play, and Breaston's TD would supplant the Cal/Stanford band-is-out-on-the-field play for the #1 play in the history of mankind, and we'd all have to suffer the endless parade of highlights forever and ever.

Hooray. Fuck Michigan.

I have nothing useful to add other than this:

:slappy:

And that goes for everything...officiating, Llllllllloyd, scUM, the meltdown at Goblow.com, this thread. This is almost as much fun as watching OSU beat scUM!!!!!!!

Just wondering: Were we trying to recruit Tyler Ecker? And if so, was it considered a blow when he chose scUM? Because if so...damn.

No, he was not a priority. The Buckeyes took Jason Caldwell that year at TE and Ryan Hamby in 2001. Plus OSU had just signed Ben Hartsock in 1999 and Darnell Sanders a couple of years before that. Michigan had Bennie Joppru (sp) at the time and knowing Ecker would be going on a mission got Massaquoi in 2001. Ecker only still has eligibility because he went on a two year Mormon mission. And considering he has run out the clock for Michigan the last two games I say we should be happy he ended up in Ann Arbor.

Anyone have sound advice for investing V-cash?

Yeah -, I hear that scUM is a LOCK for their bowl game ...

Oh, wait ...

<fieldset class="fieldset"><legend>vBookie Event</legend> Michigan v. Nebraska (Football)

This event is over.

</fieldset>

Now a quick thread check --

scUM loses, Llllloyd once again underutilizes successive top 10 recruiting classes -

Big 10 embarassed - :!

Sun Belt Officials change the game instead of calling the game - :shake:

Many humorous insights (:tongue2:) from those fair weather scUM fans.

So what's left, I know - we can start a fund to have Lllloyd send seeing eye dogs to that group of Sun Belt Zebras.

Did I mention that these officials were absolutely the dumbest SOBs I have ever seen in striped jerseys outside of a mime troupe?
