THe depth chart lists the second string as "Wells or Wells" does anyone think That Beanie has overtaken Maurice .

by virtue of what he brings to the table physically? yes. because he is a better back than wells light? no. imo pitt and wells light are very similar backs. i personally envision mo leaving tOSU reminding people a whole lot of pitt. beanie is a whole other beast. what he brings to the table physically is the exact opposite of what pitt and mo bring to the table. by virtue of that he fits a nitch, short yardage for example, that neither pitt or mo truely fit in their own right. its because of that imo that beanie gets the "qausi" second string status and see's more playing time. not because he is "better" per say. its amazing what tressel and co. have setup in the tb position. it makes you wonder if they envisioned something like this or if this just happened.

I respectfully disagree. I think Pittman runs three times as hard as Mo Wells and breaks a ton more tackles than MW who breaks almost none. I will say that I think MW sometimes hits the hole faster, but if you watch Pittman run, you know that a lot of his yards come from his patience and ability to wait for a gap or edge to open up. C Wells is a beast and yes, much tougher to bring down then Pittman, but I think they're all very different. It's like we have all 3 types of RB's that exist. The quick scatback, the slasher & the bruiser. The best part is the slasher and the bruiser are both very fast as well. What a dilemma to have...who plays 2nd string? I personally would rather see C Wells getting all the 2nd string carries behind Pittman.
