I think that's the idea behind getting Green. He obviously isn't a long term solution, but he's a stop gap while you build up and solidify the rest of the organization.

I agree - and by the time Green is showing wear and tear one or other quality QBs should be coming into the '10 or '11 drafts - or onto the FA market.

Interesting the way the Texans went for Akoye - evidently the Broncos trade could not be done - after Phins took Ginn.

Leaves quality WR talent in the offing. Meachem to the 49ers perhaps - or go on the defensive side of the ball?
