LSU has suspended fullback Dominique Allen for "violating team rules." He has been suspended indefinitely says head coach Les Miles. Miles press release statement noted, "To be part of the LSU football team, we ask our players to strive for excellence in the classroom and in competition, and to represent this university in a first-class manner in the community. Anything short of that will not be accepted."

On the over-signing front + Finebaum front, I would suggest that you go to http://www.finebaum.com and listen to hour four for Friday July 16, oversigning call from Ohio caller in the first 15 min. Finebaum is nationwide on satellite now.

Daily Reveille - Football: QB Chris Garrett to transfer from LSU

Shea Dixon, managing editor for TigerSportsDigest.com, said Garrett received a letter saying he would not be on scholarship next season.

I still can't believe that nothing happened to either Julio Jones or Mark Ingram after that fishing trip in the Gulf before last season. I thought for sure they'd get a 1-game suspension.

from what i've heard, the guy that took them fishing was an Auburn booster.

prolly was trying to get them suspended/ruled inelligible.
