2012 TSUN shenanigans and arguments

http://www.freep.com/article/201203...nymous-survey?odyssey=tab|topnews|text|Sports

Interesting survey put together by espn.com, polling the outgoing Michigan football seniors on things they'd never respond to on the record.

Such as:

- Whether they liked former coach Rich Rodriguez. Of the 19 respondents, eight said yes, six said "yes, as a person, but he wasn't a good coaching fit." Two were neutral, and three said no.

- All 19 respondents answered "yes" to the same question about coach Brady Hoke.

Cont'd ...

The source for this FreeP article is ESPN Insider [$].

Of course. The money-quote of the entire piece was this anonymous quote from an outgoing senior:

"In a weird way, there's a Michigan arrogance. There's a lot of entitlement from a lot of the students, and because it's Michigan, there's a lot of successful alumni and a lot of successful people send their kids here. I don't like seeing the work ethic of a lot of the students and a lot of the people. They seem as though everything will be handed to him."

And this:

"I would have to say the enthusiasm during the games. As much as I love playing at home and that stadium is something else, it's hard to top it. But it's a little frustrating when you go to other schools and they have 60, 70 percent of the attendance you get at home but they are just as loud, if not louder. I'd like to see that change over the next few years. Notre Dame was a definite start -- that was pretty crazy -- and so was Ohio State, but I'd like to see that intensity, enthusiasm and crowd noise in those two games all year round."

Wait a second--that second player said "Ohio State" instead of "Ohio." I wonder if that windbag of a coach of theirs is going to revoke his scUM card.

So...

I think this was last thursday...

I got a new grill and needed to, you know, get a whole bunch of stuff to grill on it.... cause that's what you do.

Anyway, rather annoyingly I got caught up at work so my butcher shop closed at 7, despite my best efforts, I couldn't make it on time.

So, stuck going to Giant Eagle. Blah, but, whatever, new grill.

So, I roll up to the meat counter, no one around, and finally the dude comes around the corner all apologetic that I had been waiting... no big deal really, hadn't made up my mind yet. So, have him grab me some shrimp, and walk down to pick out some steaks... and he comes back with 2 pounds, when I had asked for 1. No, big deal, we sort that out. So, then, I pick out a couple steaks, and I'm like I want the 2nd one and 4th one from you.

From you?

No, from you.

So, he gets one... (the 2nd one) and now picks the 5th one. To which I say, no, the one behind that.

Now, in his defense... the 5th one was now the 4th one because the 2nd one was gone, I guess...

So, he wraps that up for me, and says, "Hey I'm really sorry about that, I've been off my game since OU beat Michigan last week."

Hmmmm... I'm willing to bet its been longer than that.

Is this kid fair game yet?

I don't often wish to see a kid fail or suffer serious injury..but when I do...

"We're going to be number one," Morris said. "We should have the number one class in the nation, especially with some commits that we should get soon and the ones we're going to get at the end. There's no reason we shouldn't be number one unless somebody wants to under-rank our players to keep us from the top."

Look if scUM isn't #1 they are going to blame sombody else.

Detroit (Mich.) cornerback Jourdan Lewis was Morris' favorite target....I imagine alot of cornerbacks will be.

"Ohio is definitely building a great recruiting class and that will keep them good," he said. "But I feel like we should beat them four years in a row. I definitely don't plan on losing to Ohio at all."

Dear Mr. Spence and Washington please destroy this kid.

That's just a little early to be talking [Mark May]. Heard he was crying after his horrible performance at the recent Elite 11 camp. Can't wait to see him cry wearing that ugly ass winged helmet.

[Michigan fan]His crying shows that he has heart. That's something you can't coach. I'm actually glad he had a bad performance to keep the fire lit under him; you don't want the kid getting overly confident. Just wait until Borges gets a hold of him, and he'll show those scumbag Ohio fans that he's a true Michigan Man. When his footwork gets better, he'll lead us to a 56-0 record and 4 straights National Championsips.[/Michigan fan]

I need to shower now.
