2013 Bring back a Buckeye.

If you could bring back one Buckeye player from the past to help this team today who would you pick?

As for me I'm torn between these two guys at the moment.

Orlando Pace. Always Orlando Pace. It's not even about who is currently playing LT.
The best Buckeye player in history and the best tackle period according to many.

That said, osu is a lot better off at tackle vs safety. For need, it is Whitner by a country mile, especially with nothing but unproven youngsters and proven to be average veterans manning the safety positions .

Doss was a legendary force but he is not in Whitner's zip code when facing spread option offenses.

Tatum wouldn't make it to the second quarter with the current rules (I'm surprised Bryant never got dinged) . After his third expulsion they would probably give him the year off.

In the end, you always need a defense. This ain't the WAC.
Yes, I was being totally serious. I'm always serious on BP. I take my hypothetical questions SERIOUSLY. If Orlando Pace were on this current team, they wouldn't need a defense at all. I'm not saying they wouldn't need good players, I'm saying they could literally not have a defensive team. No coordinator, no defensive schollies, nothing. Just wanted to be clear.

I see....well no defense or defensive staff would mean better lighting at night in the Shoe then I take it?

1. Spielman

2. Doss

3. Antoine Winfield

These actually were the three guys I started with.

I wasn't looking to start Jack nor was I thinking playing him in every game. I'm bringing him in for nuisance removal service only. No way I'd let Gallon have an abracadabra night.

Too many choices.

Gamble or Winfield

Neil Colzie

Cousineau or Hawk

Woody - just to hear him give the pregame and halftime speeches and rants about MICHI$@&!. Oh and to break the officials over his knees like a yard marker.
