Uh, a few players selling their own shit was "dirty" and "cheating"? Fuck you. And neither Tressel nor Gee were "thrown out"...Tressel resigned and Gee retired.

Umm yeah Greg, here's the thing, tsun was on probation for "cheating" when Hoke took over as well. Moron!

Funniest line:

"Two Michigan players told me the team is already as good as, or better than, Ohio State."

What does that say about the other 83 players? :)

Exactly. It's a stupid thing to say. I'm sure he only interviewed two kids and it's idiotic. 85 kids on Central Michigan are going to say they are better than tsun, but what moron would make that a journalistic point in his article?

You did. I feel like I'm in the twilight zone or something.

A west coast offense stretches defenses sideline to sideline (east/west). Tsun is going to run a power-I and try to stretch defenses vertically (north/south). Tsun is literally running the complete opposite of the west coast offense.

I was reading this thread, and completely agreed with you, than I did some dd, and read Borges installes the west coast offense every place he has been. Even wrote books about west coast offense. With the main emphasis on getting playmakers out in space, and really helps when you do not have a dynamic receiver, but receivers who run good routes. Imo he is installing something like 33% of a power west coast offense.

Tsun can call their offense whatever they want, but from what I have read and seen, they are going back to old school smash mouth between the tackles football. I just can't picture them being a pass happy, throw it to the fullback and running back in the flats offense. Not with their personnel anyway.

Let me wrap my head around this... UM is recruiting huge, between the tackles RBs, bigger possession receivers, and slow/huge OLinemen to run a West Coast Offense? Lol I can only hope that Borges is dumb enough to try it and that Hoke somehow green lights it. Seriously, that would be awesome to watch 230 pound backs try and get to the outside to stretch the field horizontally. Especially when Shazier,Perry, et al are waiting to crush them. And don't even get me started on the OL philosophy where RichRod's recruits are actually more desirable than Hoke's since they have to move and pull in the WCO. But, as you know, you can't fix stupid.

We know who Al Borges is, thank you. Do YOU know who Joel Greer is?

He's a retired dude with a blog, and his post clearly states what he thinks, with no evidence supporting why Michigan would install the WCO this year with a stable of backs that were recruited to block and linemen that can't pull.

And that MGoBlog piece is from last January, when Michigan also didn't install the WCO because the personnel was not capable of running it.

Michigan Fats? Is that a nickname or a club he and Hoke belong to?
