All efforts and contributions are greatly appreciated, everyone.

July and August are ALWAYS our toughest months of the year, and that's certainly no exception this time around. So thanks, great thanks, to all who help keep this place going.

Doesn't matter how small a kick in, everything gets a banner, some site currency, and our appreciation.

What percentage of those who have posted in the last 30 days have banners? Increasing that % would move us closer to our goal. And I know a few are struggling financially, but I would bet many more just haven't thought about it. And even those who are struggling, several could probably find $5-$10 to help out an awesome site.

How do monthly donations work ? Do I do them on my own or is there a way to to have it automatically done ? Just curious because I've been on here long enough (2004. Long-time lurker) to contribute.

Boom. Donation sent, although not much. Currently Interning & working a part-time job, but plan on increasing my monthly contributions in the future. Spent too many years and too much time on here not to step up to the plate.

Thanks for helping us keep the lights on (and helping Clarity as well). Our costs keep rising as the membership size and bandwidth increases. For anyone else in Smudger's shoes, any amount helps, because it is predictable. If you can chip in $5 a month, that's still huge.

Finally able to pitch in. Tax refund came in this morning and since I've been working, I'm not behind on bills. My refund is actually extra money this year. I'm a working man with a girlfriend who works as many hrs a week as she's able while also going to school full-time and interning more hrs than she works for pay. We have a daughter who turned four a month ago and my ol' lady has a 12 year old son from a previous relationship. Anyway, at this point in our life together, we've been thru some shit. Had a pretty good job a few years ago and lost it. Bought a pretty nice car (to us anyway), and it broke down in November. Moved into a much nicer apt last July, and rent went up almost $200/month for the pleasure. :lol:

I'm not sharing to get pity, or to make excuses why I haven't carried my own weight. I shared to let folks know that despite my family struggles over the past few years, every time I catch a break, I try to remember BP. Our money is needed. Badly. I can't think of a better place to give. Or a more deserving one.

Thanks, Will and Jo. Without you guys, and BP, I'd still be alive, surely. I'd probably be just fine. But I know without a doubt I wouldn't have a home online that's full of a group of assholes that I'm proud to call friends.

If you're able to give a little....even ten damn dollars...and haven't....why not? I'm not being confrontational. I honestly don't know why someone that gets a kick out of reading, posting, downloading torrents, swiping tsun memes to email asshole co-workers etc, wouldn't toss a little coin in the collection plate.

If I can, most everyone else sure as shit can as well.
